MINISTRIES
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry at The Pentecostals of Fort Worth has much to offer each child. We provide classes on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for children ages 6 weeks to 18. Each class offers age specific Bible lessons, games, crafts, and worship designed for children. The perfect setting for children to interact and build relationships with other children enhancing their social skills and creativity.
The fourth Sunday of each month children in our elementary aged classes join together in our monthly Children's Church (G-Force) to bring lively worship, crowd breaker games, memory verse challenges, and bible skits to bring home the biblical principles for children to learn to apply to their lives.
The staff of dedicated teachers, directed by Andy and Maria Merriman, have a passion for children and are very effective in sharing the love of God with each child in their classroom.
Children ages 6 weeks to 6th grade begin class time at 10:00 am each Sunday morning. Students 6th grade to 12th grade begins with worship in the Sanctuary with the adults, and then are dismissed to their classroom at a designated time.
Intense Student Ministries
Intense Student Ministries is comprised of Students who are 12 to 18 years of age (6th to 12th grade.)
These students meet weekly on Friday night with planned events that range from Bible Studies, Synergy Rallies, off site team building events, and fellowships.
Motion Young Adults
Motion Ministry is comprised of College and Career aged young adults aged 18 - 30 (unmarried) and is led by Changli and Marquita Crockett.
These young adults are involved in various community projects, as well as mentoring youth of The POFW by exampling goodly Christian lifestyles obtained from the Bible.
The Motion group joins with the ISM Student Ministry once a month in a Synergy Rally worshipping the Lord, and learning biblical principles that each group can apply to their lives to assist them in growing of with good Christian morals.
SALT Ministry
Single Adults Living Triumphantly
The Salt Ministry ministers to the Single Adults at POFW and in the community. Under the direction of Anne Bower, SALT meets bi-monthly to enjoy fellowship, food, bible studies, game nights, and activities of interest to all.
OASIS Ministry
Older Adults Sharing In Service
The Oasis Ministry, led by John and Lisa Soliz, is comprised of adults 55 years or older. OASIS volunteers for projects at POFW to assist in various ministry needs, as well as, host monthly times of fellowship for encouragement.
